Question: I have a painful and slightly swollen thumb. The joints in the thumb are sore and hurt to touch h. The joint closest to the top of thumb doesn't bend easily , it's more of a pop and feel like crunching . I don't recall any trauma , it's only my right thumb.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this swollen an painful thumb joint that you have reported. I have reviewed this information fully and will like to obtain more information as to how long this has been going on and whether this is the first time you are experiencing this. Also, I will like to obtain and image for review. This way I can provide more insides especially making a difference between a possible arthritis and an infectious process.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
