Suggest Treatment For Osteoarthritis

Question: I have severe osteoarthritis, osteoporosis & KFD. I'm in extreme pain due to the weather & im not achieving any relief. Every movement is excruciating! There are very few pain relievers I've had without severe reactions & I know that I have been warned about some combinations of pain relievers with the Zoloft, but I can't recall which ones. In the past, I have tolerated (& have prescriptions for) meloxican, toradol, Demerol & Flexeril. I know the meloxicam & toradol can't be taken with regular frequency. Please advise which is best combined with the following meds: Zoloft, Maxide, Lasix, protonix, florastor, Synthroid, Zantac, Allegra, singular, Zyrtec, Claritin, mucinex. Thank you!

I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. The provided list of medicines contains drugs given for various reasons; they are not for pain alone. Meloxicam, toradol, demerol are pain medicines whereas flexeril is a muscle relaxant. The other medicines are not pain medicines. Following is your answer to the pain meds:
Meloxicam - osteoarthritis pain & inflammation due to osteoporosis (congenital) & KFD
Toradol - same
Demerol - same + 17lbs of steel in spine from T3 down due to severe scoliosis & car crash
Flexerill - chronic muscle spasms due to multiple major surgeries

Following is your answer to my daily meds & ailments they treat:
Zoloft - anxiety & mild depression
Maxide - water retension, congestive heart failure
Lasix - congestive heart failure
Protonix - severe GERD
Florastor - colon balance to manage ulcerative colitis
Synthroid - hypothyroidism
Zantac - GERD & allergies
Allegra - allergies
Singulair - allergies & asthma
Zyrtec - allergies
Claritin - allergies
Mucinex - to thin excessive thick mucus
Symbacort & Flovent - asthma

Above are the only meds I need to use with any regularity. However, if there is a disruption in the conditions these are prescribed to treat, I do have prescriptions for meds that are prn & they are as follows:
Zofran - nausea due to GERD and/or anaphylactic allergic reactions
Epipen - used to counter analphylaxis
Dexamethasone - same
Prednisone - same
Benedryl - same
Mesalamine - ulcerative colitis pain
Rhinocort, Nasacort & Flonase - inhaled allergens, sinusitis & inflamation
Pro-Air - asthma attack

There was 1 of the meds prescribed for inflamation & pain that I was told could not be combined with the zoloft, but I can't remember which drug it was. That's what I need to know.

Meloxicam, toradol, demerol are pain medicines that you take. Ibuprofen (another pain medication) or meloxicam and Zoloft have drug interactions as there may be an increase in the risk of bleeding. But with the others I do not see any such risk with the mentioned medicines. You therefore have no reason to worry and can continue with the latter two.
