Suggest Treatment For Oral Lichen Planus
Question: I have been diagnosed with Oral Lichen Planus (hideous disorder). I have taken Triamterene for Meniere's Disease for many years. The Pathology Prof at the Dental College wants me off the Triamterene. What do you suggest as an alternative? I am female, 77 yrs old. YYYY@YYYY

As far as lichen planus is concerned, you may take steroids to suppress that but at the same time, it compromises the immune system, so it should always be taken in tapering dosage under proper medical supervision.
