Suggest Treatment For Occasional Pain In The Wrists

Posted on Mon, 19 Sep 2016
Question: Hello Doctar,

I am 36 years of age.

From the last couple of months, i am observing occasional pain at both the wrists. First it started from left hand and now also at the right hand. It is more when i suddenly bend my hand backwards or try to lift any heavy load. Is it due to some deficiency or weak bones. I did have low Vitamin D some time back and was put on Vit D3 dose. I have not checked recently.

Brief Answer:
You can start the supplements.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
You can get the serum levels tested and start with the supplements accordingly. Try to give rest to your wrists and avoid using too much of keyboards. Taking the supplements based on symptoms only is also not harmful.
Hope my answer is helpful.
