Brief Answer:
It will take few more days to settle the issue .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery of BNI for Bladder Neck Obstruction very recently and have obstructive voiding symptoms .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) what ws the size of prostate detected on Scanning?
2) What was the Q XXXXXXX revealed on Uroflowmetry?
3) Was a prior endoscopic examination (Cystoscopy) done to confirm the diagnosis of Bladder Neck Obstruction ?.

In a properly selected patients it takes 3-4 weeks to stabilize the results of surgery of BNI .

I would suggest you to continue drugs prescribed by your Urologist .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards.

sir, following your reply i furnish below the details asked by you, sir.
1. the size of prostate is 22 gram only.
2. Q XXXXXXX is nearly 15 ml per sec
3. cystoscopy done on 10.05.2016 just prior to bni confirming bladder neck obstruction, urethra normal, prostate non-obstructive-etc.

bni done on 10.05.2016, still facing obstructive flow problem, flow not improved. i feel alfoo and urotone is not helping me. prior to operation i was on sildosin 8 mg which was not also helping me so i decided for bni as suggested by doctor. but still facing the obstructive voiding difiicuties. burning sensation is urethra is now ok but i am afraid wheather i will be benefited by bni or not. if not please suggest the next step which i should take for my problem. thanks sir please guide me.

Brief Answer:
You need to do Urodynamic study of the bladder .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for feedback .
As per your statement your uroflometry which revealed Q XXXXXXX to be 15 ml does not suggest obstruction

I would suggest you to get Urodynamic study of the bladder done .This will give information about Detrusor power (Contractile power of bladder)

I personally feel that you will not be benefited with BNI.As such it is very difficult to predict about the results of BNI.

In the mean while continue taking Alfoo etc .

Thanks and Regards.

Brief Answer:
Results of BNI are same irrespective of site of incision .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .

The results of BNI are same irrespective of site whether it is done at 5 and 7 o clock position or 6 o clock position .

The Urodynamic study can be done after 3 weeks of surgery when the site of incision is healed up completely .

Thanks and Regards.
