Question: I have numb left upper thigh from knee to upper thigh top left side only rest of my leg feels fine..No loss of strength..No pain...It's been
Like this for almost 24 hours..What should I do..

Could be meralgia paresthetica.

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel Orthopedic Surgeon.
In my opinion you are suffering from what is called meralgia paresthetica. In this condition you have pain and numbness in the area just described by you due to pressure on nerve at groin.

Start gabapentin , pain killers and wear loose belt or pants.
Other possibility is disc prolapse at L234 levels.So if there is no improvement in a week go for MRI lumbar spine.
