Question: My wife has a case of shingles on the labia minor and inside the vaginal canal. It took three month to get the correct diagnosis. She was given Valtrex, which she has taken for over a month. She still has ultra sensitivity to touch the labia minor and has to use lidocane every two hours to wear clothes. I think she is beginning to have nerve oversensitivity that could get worse. What do you recommend she do or who should she see to further the treatment to eliminate this painful condition.
