Suggest Treatment For Neck Pain And Ringing In The Ears

default
Posted on Mon, 14 Nov 2016
Question: I have an abscess on my front tooth and I am on 150 MG clindamycin. This is my second round on these antibiotics for a reoccurring infection this month. For the last 24 hours I have had a bad headache and back/neck pain. I also have a slight ringing in my ears, not sure if it is related. Should I be worried that the infection has spread. Maybe meningitis.

Brief Answer:
tooth infection, ear infection, root canal treatment, extraction

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
You have 3 different issues. For the pain in the ear you need to consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated.
The tooth infection has to be treated first either by root canal treatment or extraction. Antibiotics are temporary solutions. So consult an oral physician and endodontist and get the tooth treated. Regarding your head ache you need to consult a general physician and get it evaluated. It is not looking like meningitis. First you get the tooth treated.
I hope I have answered your question. If you have any queries reply me back.
take care.
