Question: FOR LAST 1 YR IAM GETTING CRAMPS IN MY RT ARM. THERE IS A SHIVER IN MY RT ARM. DUE TO THIS IAM NOT ABLE TO DO ANY ACTIONS RAPIDLY IN MY RT ARM. I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO BRUSH MY TEETH WITH RT ARM, I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO SHAVE WITH MY RT ARM. I PREFER TO DO IT WITH MY LEFT ARM. I FIND IT DIFFICULT TO TAKE MY PURSE FROM MY PANT POCKET WITH MY RT HAND.THERE IS A SHIVER IN MY HANDWRITING. I WRITE VERY SLOWLY. IAM 48 YRS OLD. BUT I WRITE LIKE 80 YR OLD. ALL THE ACTIONS WITH MY RT ARM ARE VERY SLOW. I FIND IT LITTLE BIT DIFFICULT TO STRETCH MY HAND FULLY.DUE TO THIS MY RT ARM POSTURE IS NEARLY HALF FOLDED FROM ELBOW. IF I STRETCH MY RT HAND THERE IS PULLING SENSATION IN MY RT ARM.THE PAIN IS NOT SEVERE BUT RT ARM ACTIONS AND POSTURE ARE CAUSING ME DISCOMFORT. I RIDE TWO WHEELER A LOT ALMOST 50 TO 60 KMS A DAY FOR PAST 25 YRS.I HAVE BOTH CERVICAL SPONDYLOSIS AND LUMBAR SPONDYLOSIS FOR PAST 10 YRS. FOR LAST 2 YRS I WAS DRIVING A TWO WHEELER WITH POOR PICK UP. I USED TO STRAIN A LOT RACING THE ACCELERATOR WITH MY RT HAND. IAM AFRAID THE PROBLEM HAS AGGRAVATED BECAUSE OF MY USING TWO WHEELER WITH POOR PICK UP. I HAVE TAKEN MRI BRAIN AND MRI SPINE BEFORE 2 YRS. MRI BRAIN WAS NORMAL. MRI SPINE REVEALED SPONDYLOSIS OF CERVICAL.I HAVE CHANGED MY TWO WHEELER . THE NEW ONE HAS BETTER PICK UP. BUT THE PROBLEM IN MY RT HAND CONTINUES.WHAT TO DO. WHETHER I SHOULD STOP RIDING TWO WHEELER. IS THE PROBLEM SERIOUS.IAM AFRAID THE PROBLEM IS NERVE RELATED. ANY TESTS TO BE TAKEN. ANY PHYSIOTHERAPY OR EXERCISES TO BE DONE.PLEASE ADVISE

Brief Answer:
Incoordination and Intentional Tremors likely due to Cerebellar involvement

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HealthCareMagic.com I am Dr.J XXXXXXX Anto Bruno Mascarenhas, and I am here to help you. I have read your question with care and understand that you
have tremors in your right arm and due to this, you are not able to do any actions rapidly and find difficult to brush your teeth and share and difficult to take your purse from pocket and you have incoordination while writing too

All these point out to Cerebellar Dysfunction

Cerebellar Dysfunction can be either a primary problem of Cerebellum or it can be a complication of Cervical Spondylosis

You have taken the MRI 2 years ago, but the right arm incoordination is there for the past one year

So, now You have to do
1. MRI Brain with Emphasis on Posterior Fossa
2. MRI Cervical Spine
Again now to do know the level and extent of the problem

After these test, we can proceed with the appropriate treatment

Hope you found the answer helpful.

If you need any clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions, then please do not hesitate in asking again. I will be happy to answer your questions.
