Suggest Treatment For Muscle Cramps In Groin Area And Legs

default
Posted on Mon, 22 Jun 2015
Question: My wife has an extremely bad muscle cramping condition that extends from the inside of her groin and down her leg. The muscles in the back of her thigh become hard as a rock. This is not a common XXXXXXX horse. Twice I have found her on the floor screaming - and nothing relieves it. The woman has had several back surgeries throughout the years and the Doctor's all have said that she has an extremely high pain tolerance - so this is no joke. Now she is cramping with different degrees of severity all day long. Imagine a cramp in your calf extending for the entire length of your leg - with the pain multiplied ten-fold. Any suggestions?

Brief Answer:
She may be having salt deficiency

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case. I can understand her condition because I see lots of such patients in my opd. I think that she might be having deficiency of calcium and salt in the body. It is common If she is diabetic or hypertensive. So I would recommend you following.
1.whenever she had such cramps she should be given glass of water with a spoon full of salt.
2. Increase her salt intake.
3.tablet calcium and vitamin D 3 will be good for her.
I hope this treatment will help her. Valium has no role in cramps. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
Thanks

I can't thank you enough. We have consulted several doctors and the only recommendations that we have received are magnesium, iodine and apple cider vinegar. You, on the other hand, were right on the money!

In hindsight, my wife has tried to live a pretty salt-free life. By following your recommendation and drinking a glass of salt water, the cramps have disappeared for the first time in years and she is finally able to sleep without waking up in agony.
She is also taking calcium and vitamin D3, as well as increasing her daily salt intake.

Thank you again.
