Question: OK so I'm having this issue,

About three months ago I got hit in the ear, for about a week my hearing was muffled, but no pain.

For a couple weeks after that it sounded like there was fluid in my ear, so I decided to put a little peroxide to clean it out.. It was excruciatingly painful..

I've left it alone for sometime now I've tried putting a little rubbing alcohol on the end of a Q-tip and cleaning the very beginning part of the ear canal and that is extremely painful It Burns..

I have laid down in the bathtub and got water in it and that is extremely painful

Tonight I've tried to do peroxide in my ear again be at that it was three months ago that all this occurred thought it might be safe to try to clean my ear out as soon as the peroxide touched my ear excruciating pain.

I have no idea why am experiencing these issues during the day I do not hurt at all in my ear doesn't even bother me until something wet liquid touches the inside of my ear..

Brief Answer:
Get an ear examination done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. A simple ear examination with an otoscope will settle the diagnosis.

2. The most likely cause for these symptoms can be an ear drum perforation, post trauma in your case.

3. A mild otitis externa is also a possibility. The ear canal skin may be sensitive.

4. Hydrogen peroxide is an irritant, avoid using it. Rubbing alcohol should not cause so much pain.

5. Do let me know the results of your ear examination.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
