Suggest Treatment For Mouth Ulcers

Question: Hello Doctor,

I hope you remember me, I am continuing with Sensodyne toothpaste SLS free, Zinconvit tablets. However, today morning I see three mouth ulcers erupted. Two on corner of my lips and one on my corner of my tongue.

I've applied Kenkort two times till now but it seems I still have this issue. Can you please help me to permanently get rid of these, I am not sure why they are keep coming back. It's been more than six months I am struggling with mouth ulcers

Yes, I do remember your problem in detail and I just had re-evaluation of your reports and also our previous discussions..

-Now I would like to know that it is after how many days that the ulcers have re-erupted?
-Also as you said on the corner of lips, are they outside or inside of the lips?
-Are they painful?

Please upload the pictures of the lip sores as I need to see their proper location..

1. I think in 2-3 days they have re-erupted. Before that I was feeling burning sensation on those areas.
2. Inside of the lips. One is on lower lip and another on is on upper lip. I am sending you the pics as well.
3. They are erupted today so pain is less but I am sure pain will increase as they grows. Whenever I eat anything I feel the pain at the moment.

I have viewed the images and are typical canker sores..

You can continue with the previous treatment..
You can also take steroid lozenges to help them heal faster..

Continue the same and revert back in a week ..

Thanks what is steroid lozenges? is it a tablet? can you please give me the exact name so that I can find at my nearest pharmacy? Please also mention 50mg 250mg etc. Should I take twice a day or once a day before or after meal?

You can check with your local pharmacy of you get Corlan pellets or other steroid lozenges..

If f it is not available you can look for Steroid containing Mouthwash..

Brand names depends on the availability at local pharmacy..

Thanks Doctor. I visited 12-14 local pharmacy stores and unfortunately none of them are aware of " Corlan pellets or other steroid lozenges" and they are asking for medicine name. Can you please give me 2-3 common medicine names which has the formulae you suggested and I can find at my local pharmacy stores?

If you do not find steroid lozenge then you can continue with Kenacort gel..

Also you can ask for Magic mouthwash if you get and let me know..

If you do not get even that then at least go for Chlorhexidine Mouthwash..
