D now in the home, garage, truck, trail or and boat. He sold everything and bought a new truck, boat and trail or to live in . Within months the mold was back in everything. It's eaten away dash and seTs in truck and acts like an acid around everything. It has even eTen his tires and water hoses.now it is eating cable and hoses in yet truck. He itches non stop, he has an oily substance all over his skin, his kidneys burn non stop , his groin aches so bad he can't walk, his bowel movements XXXXXXX ad and desist has objects like XXXXXXX fish as does his urine, he cNt have sex as the pain is so bad, over twenty years he has seen numerous Drs however, the all say it is in his mind, I had him come to Ca to see a specList Dr Perdikis. Who ran test and sAid he did not have mold poisoning however he had MRCA. XXXXXXX was turned over to a specialist and put in hospital for a week, where they would run a series of test. The day after admitted he was released as his Dr was going on vacation and back up Dr. Was to busy to handle another patient so XXXXXXX was sent home and told to take antibiotics an go back t see Dr when he returned frm vacation. XXXXXXX stayed with us and felt better however we live off the grid on a ranch in Sierras. Now XXXXXXX starts having a relation to a type of battery and can't be sound the lap tops, cell phones, tablets, watch with battery bike him out before leaving to g home his Dr stated his kidneys hurt because they fond a stone and it would pass soon. Two years later he is still as sick and still being tol it will pass. He says that he finds blk granularity in his U tine. He can't bring food in as it immediately gets an oily film on it. Something like acid eats thru anything like flooring, pillows, mattresses ext. he went to XXXXXXX dept to get help and they said he was seeing things. I have seen what batteries do to him and whatever all this is it is not in his head. We just can't get a dr. To help and I'm Fraid he is going to give up. I'm convinced he is having a chemical reaction to something stemming from the mold. However he came up clean when tested. He can't get any Drs. To see him as after they review his file they see where the other Drs. Say it is in his mind and we can't even get any teat run, he has Medicare as he lost his ft an fingers to frost bit when on. A hunting trip when he was 22. Is there no help for people on Medicare Please help before he looses everything. Any ideas on what the cause is would be appreciated. Thanks, XXXX

Brief Answer:
Please visit a psychiatrist to rule out any psychiatric condition

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

I have read the history and I can understand your concern for your brother. The duration of illness is about 20 years and he was afraid of molds and later from batteries. Multiple visits with doctors revealed nothing. Medically he was never tested positive for molds. He even sold everything in past years but no confirmed medical diagnosis could be made. So we are left with some psychiatric diagnosis.

His symptoms could be attributed for hallucinations. In hallucinations individuals may develop perception without stimulus. He might be seeing molds in his mind but in reality there is no mold. Similarly he might be sleeping some odour but in reality there is no odour. Such type of symptoms are common in psychotic disorders and at least once he should be seen by a psychiatrist to rule out this condition. Other possibility is Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. In obsessions individuals develop intrusive thoughts like if we assume his condition then he might be having anxiety and fear of molds and in order to relieve the fear he is washing, cleaning himself or walls etc. The possibility of this also be ruled out.

So please at least once take consultation of a psychiatrist for his treatment.

Thanks, Hope this helps you, if you have more doubts you can ask again. Take care
