Brief Answer:
Start treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
I successfully treat my Migraine patients with 6 month treatment.
This includes drugs and life style changes.
I would like to know what medications you have been taking till now and how many attacks a week you get.
How about your sleep?

Thanks, Dr. Varshney.

Currently, I am not on any regular medication. If migraine occurs, I took paracetamol.

Last medicine I took in January 2014 which were :

1. T. Lanzol 30 - 1 x 1
2. T. Sibelium 5 - 1 tab x 1

This was continued from January 2013.

During August this year, I undergo anti-biotic treatmemt - Mox 250 for 7 days

2-3 attacks per month (I believe by stopping food like wheat or milk it has been controlled but I like to eat them)

I usually sleep 7-8 hrs in the night

one point I miss: I have soft/semi water stool - once a day - for last two years and it has not changed during this period of treatment.

Brief Answer:
Migraine Prophylaxis.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
You need to continue Sibellium further. I usually keep my patients on Sibellium and Amitryptilline.
Important here is life style modification that includes 8 hours sleep daily at fix time. Avoid coffee, Alcohol , lemon, citrus fruits, vinegar.
Whenever you have pain episodes, you can take Tablet Vasograin.
Discuss with your doctor my opinion. If medicines are taken regularly, and life style changes are adopted,Migraine gets well in 6 months.
If you have any further query please ask me.

Dear Dr.,

Thanks a lot !

What about food ? This is now a major problem. I like wheat products like paratha but I could not eat them. How solve this ?

Do I need any further test for this or treatment ?

If I am allergic to these food, then why allergy test is negative.

Brief Answer:
Get Anti TTG Antibody.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
In case you are Allergic to wheat products, you have Celiac disease. Simply get Anti TTG Antibody test done. If found positive, then write to me again. If negative you don't have wheat allergy.
You can take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone for Acidity issues.
I hope it helps.
If you have any further query please ask me.
