Question: I feel a high level of pain in my brain and eyes. Basically, It is either of the two halves of the brain. The pain would be there at least 3-4 days a week. Sometimes, level of pain is so high, that I have to sleep immediately for 2-3 hours to get the bearable level of pain. Every night, I, take a sleep of 8- 9 hours but in between would have a break of 1 -2 hours at around 2 or 3 in morning. This situation is since last few months. Please suggest the solution.

Brief Answer:
Migraine headaches, the most likley explanation

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, Thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. Given the information you have posted here, at first sight, I think you may be suffering from migraine headaches. These are not uncommon in your age group. But there are other possibilities, that are equally common (an uncorrected vision defect for instance).

What I need you to do is go over the following questions I have posted here and try and answer them in your follow-up as best as you can. it will give me more information to try and arrive at a more narrow diagnosis.

1) Headache location: What part of the head hurts when you have these headaches.

2) Exacerbating and remitting factors: What things can you do to make the headache worse or better (eg, head position, time of day, sleep, light, sounds, physical activity, odors, chewing)

3) Do any medications help you in dealing with them? Have you tried meds like Burfen or Imol, etc?

Let me know about these things and I will try and help you formulate a plan of management for this issue.
