Suggest Treatment For Memory Loss

Question: Hi i am 51yrs. Recently i have been experiencing memory loss. I would eventually remember a little while later. I suffered with uncontrolled during the period September to December 2013. Also my mother died December last with apparent memory loss which progressed to a stroke . I am scared
Please advise me

I have noted your symptoms and agree with you that these are abnormal.

We need to find out the cause of memory loss in you. Common causes include vitamin B12 deficiency, lack of blood supply to brain (brain stroke, etc).

These can be excluded by doing MRI scan of brain and blood test for vitamin B12 level.

There are good medications to treat them, and hence, there is no need to worry.
