Suggest Treatment For Lymphedema

Question: Hi, i sent this question yesterday and I was told that some better pictures would be necessary to make a suggestion as to what it was. this is on a fat part of my leg, my inner leg and where I have lymphedema.... please tell me what you think it is... please give me some suggestions. thank you

I have gone through the picture you sent carefully and I can say that it could be from obesity.

However, I should have a look at the other parts of your thigh, and compare with your overall weight.

Please take a picture of your thigh but not so close, from a distance to evaluate it better.

hi dr albana i cannot take another pic from far away. i am taking the pics mysel and it won't work. other parts of my thigh are fine.. they are regular skin. would you please tell me what you think it might be based on the 2 pics i sent...please

Hi back my dear,

Ok, then, from what I have seen so far, it could be due to obesity.

I was going through the pictures again, and noted that fat tissue is inflammed (cellulitis). While there are some dry patches (eczema) possible due to dermatitis.

Keep good local hygiene, keep the area well ventilated and dry.
Apply eczema cream locally you find over the counter. Try this and let me know how it goes.
