Suggest Treatment For Lupus Nephritis

Question: Dear Doctor Naval

Just thought of updating u for my son. This is XXXX for my son XXXX with SLE. You know how the protien creat ratio shooted up to 3200 once in XXXXXXX 2015. Later we changed to Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX He started with 40 mg steroid and 2gm mycophenolate.

Now his PCR is 98. He is on 5 mg steroid with 1. 75 gm mycophenolate. Other drugs are HCQS Emvas 2.5 and Calcium.

Just to update u as u had been on those worst times.

Good to hear from you

That s good that it is getting better.. It is almost near normal only as of now and that too with minimum steroid dose. We should try and taper it to as low as we can, so his growth is not effected.

I hope his condition is well and he is coping up with school and studies well...
