Question: I have a lot of loose fatty lumps under the skin, especially the legs. But I have found a lump on my leg that seems to be attached to the muscle. Should I be worried about that lump?

Brief Answer:
It sounds like Lipomas. Get it examined.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam,
Welcome to Health Care Magic and Thank you for your question.

The problem you refer to seem like Lipomas under the skin. They are lumps made up of Adipose tissue and are not dangerous in any way. They are the commonest swellings anywhere in the body. If there is a suspicion that it is attached to the muscle then you should get examined by a Surgeon who would be easily able to tell you whether it is a Lipoma or something else. If there is a suspicion, a minor test like an FNAC or a Biopsy could be the final call.

Do not worry. But do see a Surgeon if it really bothers you.

Take care n do let me know if there are any queries on this issue.
