Suggest Treatment For Lump On Forehead After An Injury

Question: Hello. About five days ago I banged my head (around my left temple) on the side of a TV as I was standing up. It was hard enough that the area still feels tender when I press down on it, but there is no visible bruising. I have felt completely fine, but today, while I was eating, I suddenly threw up for seemingly no reason - I had no nausea beforehand (or after), I didn't feel sick at all. Even afterwards I felt completely fine, and just went back to eating. Is it at all possible I have some kind of brain bleed? I know vomiting after a head injury can be a bad sign, but it was 5 days ago. Should I go to the hospital or see a doctor?

Brief Answer:
Bleeding in brain is unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms and in my opinion, the chance of brain bleeding is unlikely.

This is because other symptoms such as headache and dizziness are lacking.

You can take symptomatic treatment such as ondansetron tablets for vomiting.

As of now, there is no need to go to the hospital. If there is repeated vomiting, or severe headache, or drowsiness, then, you may go to the hospital.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,
