Brief Answer:
Get MRI scan done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query. It does not say the status, whether are you being treated or surgery etc. The duration of the problem.

Spinal stenosis is followed up with MRI scan of lumbar spine and send me the reports, if held send me the progress reports.

For the symptoms mentioned, I prefer to prescribe a combination of tab aceclofenac+thiocolchicoside three times a day and a tab. pregabalin at night. You should meet your surgeon for this prescription. You may require short courses of oral cortisone medication or epidural injection if above mentioned painkiller and muscle relaxants do not work.

You should try to avoid weight lifting as much as you can, because it will further cause more harm.

You must do back strengthening exercises as uploaded on you-tube, because by straightening of back muscles the weight of you body will bear partly by muscles and also strengthened muscles will maintain curvature of your spine and avoid further compression of spinal nerves thus relieving the symptoms which you have.

Apply hot packs for 30 min in morning and evening in lumbar area.

I hope it helps.

If not, you may close the discussion and if possible you may rate the answer 5 points for me, so that I get a good feedback.
