Question: my blood pressure is 89/42. should I be concerned?

Blood pressure of 89/42 is a definite cause of concern if the previous usual readings were above 100 systolic.
I suggest you to do the following things

1. Sleep with leg elevated and check your blood pressure again after 5 min, this should improve your BP
2. Approach the ER as soon as possible for saline infusion to improve your BP, do not eat anything until you approach the ER
3. Avoid driving, being around sharp instruments and heights
4. Watch for dizziness and chest pain
