Brief Answer:
Keep on doing physiotherapy for one month more.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have read your query.

Your doctor has advised you the right path.

Injuries of ligaments take 2 months to heal properly.

Usually after ligaments tear or sprain, I also advise my patients the same way, but due to rest muscle of that limb become weak, so patient needs physiotherapy.

In my opinion you should keep on doing physiotherapy, but if pain increases then you should again consult orthopedic surgeon for your physical examination.

One thing more important that physiotherapy shouldn't be too aggressive.

If pain still persists then you have to undergo MRI and CT scan (both) of that knee again to find any redidual injury.

In my opinion you should join office but avoid upstairs, prolong standing anaetcd squatting etc. As the time passes your pain will decrease.

If all is going on right path, your pain will go after one month more.

Keep on wearing hinged knee brace.

I hope you got the answer.

Thanks,
