Brief Answer:
Spot on hand

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You have noticed a new lesion on the palm of your hand. Is this lesion painful? Does it itch? did it occur after trauma? Are there any other lesions on your palm or your feet.

I need you to answer these questions before I can make a guess as to what that lesion is. From the pictures alone I would guess that you may have a herpetic whitlow. This usually a blister like lesion that is caused by HSV 1. These are benign and we don't treat them with any medications but it can return at times.

Please answer the above questions. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Brief Answer:
Nevus

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for returning to HCM with the additional information.

The fact that these have been present for a while 10 years and 1 year makes me think these are benign nevi or moles. There is nothing here that makes me concerned about any malignant processes. You can still have them looked at by a dermatologist and even have them biopsied to b absolutely sure. But I feel confident that these lesions are everyday moles and nothing to be concerned about.

I hope i answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any further questions
