Lump in such location can be soft tissues benign lesion like sebaceus cyst which has gotten infected, or just a lymph node.
Lymph node usually appear due to throat or tooth infection. Lymph node should be movable and smooth and painless.

It would be good to consult it with your doctor. In case of doubts, soft tissues ultrasound can be done.
