Question: The entire left side of my body feels numb. No pain and full range of motion but some feeling of weakness. It came on suddenly.

I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Given the history of a sudden onset neurological deficit (in this case a sensory deficit and perhaps a motor one as well since you have a weakness feeling) the first diagnosis to be considered and acted upon is stroke.

So since stroke is an emergency it is imperative that you get to the ER as soon as possible since when detected and intervened in the first few hours there are interventions which can be made. Even if many hours have passed and intervention is not possible, it is still important to be evaluated as soon as possible in order to find the cause and prevent recurrences.
