Hi
I am Dr Mittal. I have read your query. I think I would be able to help you.

The normal flow of blood is in one direction. The valves of the heart are responsible for this. A leaky heart is when this normal flow is not maintained.

This is probably the most important cause of person feeling tired and fatigued or breathless because the blood needed is not reaching the body parts.

The ejection fraction of the echocardiography report will tell us the exact level. Normal is 60%. Poor is 30 -40% or less. The lower the fraction, the higher the chances of problems.

Medicines like diuretics and angiotensin receptor blockers may help and you can meet your cardiologist for a prescription for these prescription medicines.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
