Question: My son was running tripped and hit too of knee very hard concrete. He can walk, bend and straightened but cannot touch. Should I get X-ray?

Hello,

I have studied your case.

I will advise to
Rest the part and avoid any movements that produce pain.
Apply ice or a cold pack to the painful area for 15 to 20 minutes, 4 times a day. Wrap the ice or cold pack in a towel.You can use knee support also.
Till time you can take anti-inflammatory and analgesics.

If tenderness is not reducing I will advise you to further investigate
I will advise you to do X ray and Ultrasound.
