Posted on Wed, 29 Apr 2015
Question: Im 20 years old. My vulva area has been itchy for about 3 days now and today I observed that area and I found yellowish discoloration just inside my labia and on top of the vagina, where I assume is my hymen ( im a virgin). Also the vulva area is swollen and feels sore. There is no significant odor or discharge, however this is my pre- menstrual Days. Sometimes the itching is like sharp prick- like. It is so itchy and irritating I cannot even concentrate on anything else. Please help me.

Hello
WELCOME to HCM.
I appreciate your concerns.
This may be due to fungal infections of the external genitalia.
You can use ointment fluconazole,
Azithromycin and metronidazole as antibiotics,
Antihistaminic tablets for itching.
Your doctor will know the doses.
The discharge from vagina should be examined for culture and sensitivity after consulting your doctor.
Hope this will help you.
Regards.
