Brief Answer:
Hemorrhoids are the most probable reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Itchy rectum is quite characteristic symptom of hemorrhoids. You may not see them especially if are hidden inside. The itching usually gets worse right after a stool.
Once the hemorrhoids appear, wont disappear by themselves. You may decrease the size of them or eliminate the inflammation, but wont make them vanish.

I suggest you to try such treatment first:
- have sitz baths with Oak Bark twice a day for 7 days
- continue with Preparation H for just one week
- wash your rectum after every stool
- do not push hard on stool
- start fiber and probiotic intake

If this wont help in a week or so, colonoscopy should be done.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
