Brief Answer:
Possibility of dryness and allergy

Detailed Answer:
Hello My Dear Madam

Welcome to this site

I am Dr V XXXXXXX a Sr Dermatologist

I have noted your history and think that it is possibly due to dryness of skin causing itchy ankles and allergy that is responsible for welts.

Under the circumstances, you are likely to benefit by considering following measures which work effectively for my patients with similar profile.

1 Keep the area well hydrated and use moisturizers as often as dictated by the need of the skin
2 Minimize use of soaps, friction due to woolens, and consume plenty of water
3 Tab Levocetrizine 5mg or a comparable antiallergic once a day
4 Hydrocortisone cream locally twice a a day and on SOS basis
5 Pl also note any aggravating factors and avoid the trigger

This should provide relief from the condition in few days time.

I will be glad to answer other queries from you.

Best wishes
