Brief Answer:
intralesional steroid injection is the treatment of choice

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query.
I understand your concern.
Keloids are usually symptomatic. Patient may feel itch or tenderness. Another common reason for tenderness in keloid is development of secondary infection.
In that case, infection needs to be treated first.
The best treatment for keloid armpit is intralesional steroid injection. It is given by an expert dermatologist after every three weeks. Usually the number of injections required depends on the size , thickness, consistency of keloid and individual 's response to treatment.
Cryotherapy is another treatment modality.
Slowly keloid flattens with every injection.
You can share my opinion with your Dermatologist.
I am sure that he would agree with this.
Take care.
