Suggest Treatment For Itching Sensation And Redness On Groin And Scrotal Area

Question: I got chafed between my thighs really bad a week ago. Its hot and humid here. Then the red spread to my scrotum two days ago and got fire red and itchy. I tried treating with tinactin but it got worse. Tonight I decided to try A&D ointment because the tinactin was drying me out so bad I felt like I had many burning cuts on my thighs and testicles. But now after applying the A&D, It feels like something is crawling in/on my scrotum (ball sack) sorry. I went to the bathroom and noticed both sides of the sack moving, like contracting in cold weather and then warming up but it was doing this every few seconds, I can literally see it contract up smaller then let go and stretch back out like something is moving inside it, and it doesnt seem to be my testicles which I know its normal for them to move around, but this is he sack moving by its self. I can literally see the surface moving when it contracts and then releases. Its like something is inside moving around. I feels like someting is crawling under my skin and its very irritating and hard to not scratch.

Brief Answer:
Could be fungal infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

This could be ring worm or tinea infection (a kind of fungal infection) as you had red spots and itching over the scrotum.

But it requires clinical inspection for at least once to arrive at a certain conclusion whether it is fungal infection or eczema.

Without visual inspection I won't be able to tell you exactly,so it would be better if you can take clinical picture and upload.

Crawling or something moving could be the contraction and relaxation of the cremaster muscle of the scrotum which is completely normal,so no need to bother about it.

The important thing is to diagnose the underlying cause of this and to take appropriate treatment.

A&D ointment will give you only symptommatic relief but won't cure the underlying cause.

Kindly get back to me with picture.
