Brief Answer:
You have post nasal driip.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have very carefully gone through your medical history and problems. You seem to have a condition called allergic post nasal drip. You can read more about it at:
http://www.webmd.com/allergies/postnasal-drip

I would insist you to take Montair LC (mometasone + levocetirizine) once daily for a few days intermittently when you have such episodes of irritation. Loratidine is also a good alternative. But these are prescription medicines and you might need your doctor to write them for you. You also need to go for gurgling with lukewarm water but apart from that you also need to take steam inhalation. I understand that the effect of these are short lived but there is no other way that you could get relief. I would also recommend a ENT checkup and possibly a allergy panel test to evaluate the triggers which even without your being aware could be setting of the throat itchiness and discomfort.

Apart from ENT consultation I do not think that consulting multiple doctors would provide you with any benefit. Antibiotics also would not be beneficial in your case.

Thanks for the detail response. The reason I keep changing doctors is because of the nature of my job. I move around the globe a lot. And I normally would like to consult a doctor once I have concluded the prescibed drug before taking any further medication. In so doing keeping see different doctors at different geographical locations. I always make sure I provided enough history as much as possible to all new doctors who attend me.

Thanks once again
