Brief Answer:
DETAILS ARE GIVEN BELOW.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your additional information. Followings are my comments:

1) On NEGATIVE pregnancy test, irregular LATE period may be due to hormonal imbalance, improper use of contraceptive pill (if any), Poly Cystic Ovary, mental stress, emotional upset, irregular diet, high prolactin level, thyroid disturbance, pelvic infection etc.

In that case, I suggest her to undergo complete hormone profile which includes LH/ FSH, Serum progesterone, TSH, Prolactin, Testosterone, blood Hb% to rule out the underlying cause and confirm the diagnosis. You must consult with your local GYNECOLOGIST for proper guidance.

2) Proper treatment depends on clinical examination and test results. She may require cyclic progesterone/ combined hormonal pill along with other supportive treatment. Kindly, procure complete prescription from her doctor.

3) In addition, she would take healthy diet with more green vegetables and IRON supplements, drink more water, keep bowel habit regular, avoid mental stress by meditation or yoga, control body weight by regular physical exercise and maintain genital hygiene properly.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query.

Wish her good health and take care yourself.

Regards,
Dr Soumen
