Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods While Breastfeeding

Question: Hi Doctor,

My wife mother feeding right now and have irregular periods timings. This time she had delay of 10 days from the scheduled periods timings. Can you please suggest why is it happening and what we should do. My child is 1.5 yrs old.

I understand your anxiety but it is very common in Breast feeding baby but still get her thyroid hormone levels so as to see if that is the cause too. And an ultrasound from a good radiology centre.
