Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation While On Deviry
Question: Hi Doctor,
My Wife is 24 years old, 55 Kg weight and 5.1 inches height.
It's been 9 months we got married. From couple of months she is having irregular periods.
When we consulted doctor, doctor prescribed to take a pill 'Deviry 10mg' for 5 days to get periods.
And after the periods that is after 5 days doctor asked her to take 'Crisanta' for 21 days continuously.
When i read the information i learned that Crisanta tab is used for Birth control but currently we are planning for pregnency.
Could you please aswer/suggest for below,
1. What wouldbe reason for irregular periods?
2. Why a Birth control pill is suggested to takewhen we are concerned about only irregular periords and not the pergnensy as such?
3. Even if there is need to take the Crisanta pill for 21 days when exactly she should start to take pill.. That after the 4th or 5th day of mensus.
4. Will ther be any side affects after using this pill as we are eagrly looking for pregnency.

For pregnancy it is important to have regular period.
In Irregular period ovulation may also occur irregularly.
So in that case it may interfere with pregnancy.
But it is not true that irregular period does not cause pregnancy.
As she is on 6th day of her menses,she can not start cristana.
So this month you can try without pills.
Irregular period can be treated through progesterone pills also.

One last query. It is mentioned that Crisanta pill should be used from the first day of mensus cycle. which day does that mean..
Is that the day when the bleeding starts is first day of mensus cycle or the day after the bleeding stops.
