Brief Answer:
It can be corrected...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

It is much easier to correct menstrual irregularities. But it is important that you discuss with a gynecologist and understand what is causing this irregularity. I would like you to look at getting the cause treatment rather than get your cycles back.

My first advice to rectify cycles is shed weight. Women who are over weight are known to have irregular period. Start losing the excess weight, you have better chances of getting back to normal periods.

Besides exercise to shed weight, you can discuss about starting birth control pills. These are hormonal pills which when taken as instructed will make you have regular period. I haven't heard of single women complaining of irregular period while on birth control pill. Your local gynecologist can help you.

Apart from this, good nutrition, adequate sleep and sufficient stress relieving measures will regularilise period.

I repeat again, you should look at finding the cause of irregularity and treating it.
