Question: experienced an electrical shock when installing a florescent light bulb.right after i was bit dazed and heart raced.now neck a bit stiff.what should i watch for

Please watch for irregular heart beat, muscle spasms and change in color of urine. If any of these happen then consult your doctor immediately.

i feel a bit abnormal but not much. i dont really want to spend two hours at er.

Following symptoms are to be looked for when recommending a patient to ER following a suspected electric shock.

Cardiac arrest
Heart rhythm problems (arrhythmias)
Respiratory failure
Muscle pain and contractions
Burns
Seizures
Numbness and tingling
Unconsciousness

Its true that you do not have cardiac arrest, persistent racing heart rhythms, breathlessness, burns or seizures and numbness and tingling.

I would like you to put yourself on a wait and watch and take medical consultation if you have any of the above listed symptoms or feel uncomfortable.
