Brief Answer:
In next cases

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HCM.

Well, bowel obstruction may be partial, temporary or complete.

Partial is benign condition and can be caused by opstipation or certain diet.

Complete obstruction(a major medical/surgical emergency) is characterized by absence of bowel movements, nausea, abdominal cramps.

The critical period for stool absence is 3 days and after this you should see doctor,do abdominal X-rays or CT Scan.

Any further queries are most welcome.

Wish you good health.
