Brief Answer:
Symtomatic treatment for long period of time

Detailed Answer:
Hello, XXXXX ,Thanks for asking HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
If you are labelled as a case of Interstitial Cystitis, then I believe all the investigations have been done, at the same time all medications have been tried before reaching to the conclusion, and currently prescribed the medicine you are taking.
frankly speaking you have been prescribed a very good drug by your treating doctor, if the diagnosis is confirmed as mentioned by me earlier.
But you have not mentioned the problem you are having presently.
By now you must have known lots of things about IC,please make it clear what is your current or additional problem.
Drink plenty of oral fluids, Take medications regularly.
You may have stomach upset but avoid the use of antacids in conjunction with Uroblue, which may hamper absorption of the main drug.
Do write your concern at present.
Have a good day.
