Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to HealthcareMagic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what you had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, though possibility of Inflammatory bowel syndrome is rare as age of inset doesn't correlate. Infective causes needs to be ruled out with complete blood counts, CRP and stool analysis and microscopy. A preliminary antibiotics coverage with ciprofloxacin or metronidazole can be of help.

If recent antibiotics history before onset of diarrhea is there, stool antigen for Clostridium Difficile needs to be done.

Endocrine causes should also be ruled out with thyroid levels, sugar levels, cortisol levels and if needed urinary VMA levels as last resort.

The possibilities of malabsorption syndrome after chronic diarrhea should also be kept in mind so iron, ferritin, vitamin A, D and B complex defficiencies should be monitored and replaced in needed.

Using ispaghol husk, and avoiding Mil products and taking soft diets for few weeks may be of help. Probiotics should also be started. zif symptoms persist, gastroentrologist review for colonoscopy may be considered.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
