By Mistake, if I have taken 15 PARAD Tablets, what will happen? Tablet contain are Mercury 30 MG, Khatika 60MG? Tablets are called as ZANDU PARAD Tablets. Use in household for protecting grains like RICE, WHEAT etc.. Please advise at the earliest..

You had taken 15 tablets of parad or mercury , each tablet contains 30 mg i.e. you ingested 450 mg ( all in all ) .Khtika is ascorbic acid.
Lethal dose of mercury ( PARAD) ( which may cause death ) is 10-42 mg / kg body weight .
This ( organic form or inorganic form ) produces :
Gastro-enteritis ( nausea , vomiting , diarrhea and abdominal discomfort)
The nephritic syndrome or acute renal failure
Hypertension
Tachycardia
Cardiovascular collapse.
When such patient visit in the EMERGENCY ROOM at once these measures require :
==High salts ( SODIUM CHLORIDE ) by mouth with water for vomiting ( induce emesis ).
==Gastric lavage
==OXYGEN INHALATION
==POLYTHIOL RESINS ( to bind mercury in abdomen or stomach )
==Dimercaprol INTRAMUSCULAR injection for chelation of mercury entered in blood ( dose 24 mg / kg body weight in divided dosage).
==DMSA ( succimer ) or penicillamine, with 5 days rest .
==If renal failure , peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis .
At once get in an admission in EMERGENCY POISON RESCUE UNIT and get a treatment.
This is not a complete treatment because whole of this type treatment depend on treating doctor , physical examination , condition of patient .

Thank you for your response. I consumed it yesterday night at 11 PM but till now, I am feeling normal (apart from fear in mind about consumption of tablets).
So do I still need to get a medical check-up as it might affect in future or it should be fine to ignore?
