Suggest treatment for insect bite on the upper eyelid

Question: Hello, I believe I was bitten by an insect last night while walking outside. I itched the outer corner of my upper eyelid and felt something small dislodge. Within about 2 hours I began having a burning headache and neck pain. I initially attributed it to working out too hard. I woke up at midnight and had mild swelling around my right eye going down into my upper cheek. My headache had also worsened substantially. I took 440mg of Naproxen and went back to sleep. I awoke this morning with a slight headache, swelling on the right side of my face and moderate nausea. The swelling has gone down but is still noticeable, the right corner of my eye is itchy(but no obvious bite,) I'm generally fatigued and still nauseous with a headache about a 3/10. I don't have any blurred vision, muscle weakness, fever, or dizziness. My appetite is normal, no diarrhea or abdominal tenderness. My assumption was a spider bite but, where I live I believe the only poisonous spiders are Black Widows. I'm fairly certain I would have been aware of a mature female on my face before I was bitten.

Brief Answer:
Could be a bite but must have been a very tiny insect. Be calm and observe!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this possible bite. I have reviewed the information fully and this is suggestive of a possible allergic reaction following an insect bite. This ls very unlikely to have been a spider or any big insect. There is also no possible poisoning from this as well after carefully reviewing the symptoms and all the provided information. Seen the significant decrease in the symptoms within 12hours, I will recommend that you monitor only at this time. Take Tylenol for the headaches and 25mg of Benadryl to relief the itches and inflammatory reaction. Please, report the progress to me in the next 12hours.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
