Suggest Treatment For Infertility
Question: Hi Doctor,
I got married 3 years back and my age is 27. I dont have a chid yet. I have done all the tests and doctor told me i had weak quality of egg and gave medicines for it. Last month everything was fine from my end and I have done my iui last month for the first time and no success. So doctor suggested me to go for husband semen analysis.My husbands report is as below.
Count- 32M/ml, motility- 37%,progessive motility - 31%,normal forms is 0% and total motile sperm count is 23.68M/ejac,total functional motile sperm is 0.23 M/ejac.Teratozoospermic index is 2.36.
Please tell me if we have any chance for getting a baby. If so which is the best method? Medicines or IVF or ICSI. If this can be cured by medicines how long we have to wait?

1) The sperm count is good.
2) The morphology seems to be bad. That is the reason for teratozoospermia.
3) Since you are trying from 3 years and have teratospermia I suggest to go for ICSI if you dont get pregnant in 3 cycles with IUI
4) During ICSI the sperms with good morphology only are selected for injecting and ICSI done.

Thanks for your suggestion. Could you approx let me know how much it would cost for icsi in XXXXXXX Also why do you ask me to go for 3 IUI's. We are really frustrated and do not want to waste time any more.also to let you know my FSH and Lh values are 7.5 and 7.75 and amh is 2.8. Do you think i have good quality of egg?

Doctor you said ICSI and now again IVF. Which is the right one? If it is IVF how much it would cost? or do we need both IVF & ICSI how much it would cost
