Question: Hi.
Me and my wife are planning for baby from last 1 year. its been 3 years of our marriage. I want to know for how much time shall we try on our own without consulting a doctor? what all precaution do my wife and me have to take when she is trying to concieve?
she has stopped going to gym and not joining any dance classes and has stopped eating papaya. will all this help her?
she has history of suffering from PCR tuberclosis in ovary (4years ago). she took 9 months treatment for the same in which she intake some harmones and our medicines.
now what all checkups do we both need to undergo for ensuring that everything is fine and it can happen naturaly?

If you have tried for one full year with natural unprotected sex then its time that you need help .
This is because 97 percent of couples conceive by this time.
Also since your wife had TB all the more she will need help.
She should exercise but not rigorous gym. She should take 1 tablet folic acid everyday from now till 3 months after she conceives.
But first you need to investigate why you are not succesful .
Get a
Husband semen analysis
hysterosalpingo gram or hysterolaparoscopy (better)
follicular study
ultrasound pelvis
TSH, LH, FSH Hormone study
