Hi,

If your symptoms are occasional you can try antacids such as Syp Mucaine Gel whenever required. But if you have frequent symptoms, it would be better to take a course of proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole for 2-3 weeks. Your local doctor will know about this drug.

Besides medication, it is important that you apply dietary restrictions with regards to amount of spices and beverages consumed. Start exercise and maintain your weight in ideal limits.
