First try over the counter antidandruff shampoo i.e Nizoral

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I have understood it.

Dandruff Or Seborrheic dermatitis is a common cause of increased hair shedding.
You may use an OTC antidandruff shampoo e.g Nizoral shampoo, every alternate days. It contains 1% ketoconazole.
Use it every alternate days. Lather it well and allow it to act for 5-10 minutes on scalp before rinsing it off.
Use it for 2 weeks. However, if this proves insufficient I would suggest adding a topical steroid lotion e.g either Mometasone furoate 0.1% lotion Or Clobetasol propionate 0.05% lotion once daily at night.
Seborrheic dermatitis is a steroid responsive condition and they usually bring about a remarkable improvement in about 2 weeks.
These topical steroids would be available from a local chemist on prescription of a dermatologist.
Once there is significant improvement, thereafter, you may stop topical steroids and continue with antidandruff shampoo for maintenance.

Brief Answer:
Avoid hair oil

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Avoid Oil. Oil increases dandruff. If desired you may use oil for just 2 hours before shampoo.
The rest of the advice remains same.
