Question: My calcium level is 10.8 Is this to high and what is the systpoms for high calcium levels

Dear Ms, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but normally calcium levels should be less than 9.
hypercalcemia causes symptoms due to effect on various organs if the body such as:
kidneys which are manifested by: excessive thirst
,excessive urination, pain between your back and upper abdomen on one side
Also abdominal symptoms include: nausea
,abdominal pain,decreased appetite,constipation
and vomiting
high Calcium levels can affect your muscles and bones as well, causing twitches and weakness
,bone pain,height loss,bowed shoulders and curvature of the spine
Hypercalcemia can also cause psychological symptoms, such as depression, memory loss, and irritability. I hope I answered your question.if you don't have any other clarifications then please close the discussion.
