Following information are needed for a specific answer...

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

1. First, can you please provide a photo of the sores on your legs?
2. For how long have you had such problems?
3. Do you suffer from any metabolic (chronic) disease: diabetes? thyroid issues? kidneys? electrolytes/vitamins balance test?
4. Have you done any test so far: allergy? biopsy of sores? blood work? hormonal balance?
5. What medications have you tried so far?
6. Have you done any cardiac tests for irregular heart beats: ECG? echocardiogram? Holter monitoring? stress test?
7. Are you taking any medication for your irregular heart beat?

Looking forward to have these information to complete your health background and give a more specific opinion.

I am not sure how to upload a photo of the sores on this site. This has been ongoing for over 3 years. I have been tested for thyroid and for celiac disease for the itching. The thyroid came in just a bit high in hypothoroid. I started taking thyroid medicine, however, I was having depression so my doctor told me to quit taking it, he said "it is just a hormone you don't have to take it" So I did not take it anymore. Not sure if the depression was related. Diabetic not that I know of. No electrolyte test that I know of. I have been to an allergist, he had no answer, I am allergic to everything he tested me for on the smallest scale. He said nothing that really stands out. He gave me an allergy medication that I took for 3 months that did nothing for the itching. The itching comes with eating food of any sort. Or if I am hungry. Then I begin to get hives on my face, my ears itch horribly and sometimes my parotid XXXXXXX will swell. Sometimes what I think are hives become sores. Sometimes I wake up in the morning with pus filled sores on my face that break with just touching them. The heart palpitations have been on going for 25 years. Again no one can seem to pinpoint what it is. I have a resting pulse of 45 my blood pressure is on average 110/70. Once they gave me a beta blocker for the heart beat but my resting pulse went to 20 so they took me off of it. I have had an echo cardiagram and 3 different holter monitors. They see nothing other than sometimes I have more heartbeats than I should. I did not mention in my first email that I have had some bowel changes over the years also. The smell is almost like vomit on many occasions. I figure that there may be a correlation to all of this not just a lot of different symptoms, however no one else seems to think so. I would appreciate some type of help. Maybe where to go to get the right answers in the St XXXXXXX area if nothing else.

Brief Answer:
Fecal examinations are advised as following...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,

Thank you for providing further details.

Taking into account all your new information, to my opinion, you should run fecal analysis:
- examination of stool for ova/parasites
- culture of stool
- abdominal ultrasound

Sometimes, intestinal parasites can also cause such frequent hives, especially if you consume pork products.

You can discuss this further with your doctor.

Another thing is about your thyroid gland. I'd suggest to get re-tested and start therapy if needed. We cannot judge without having the lab reports and your physical evaluation. When a medication should be taken, then, you must take it.

Depression occurs when you cannot tolerate what is happening to you. You should ask for help of your relatives, or friends. If they can't help, then, professional (medical) help is required.

You should understand that there is a solution for everything. If the medication for allergy you took did not work, then, should try another one. Get the stool analysis done and hopefully, you'll find the answers.

All the best!
Dr.Albana
